Whoa baby!

Wow. Its been a year and a half since I've blogged.  Lets see what I can type in 5mins;  Hmmm, biggest highlight was meeting Mr. Ngsters during the tennis match of my life, engaged by december and married by June 06.  Oh yuck, back in school again but its cool seeing my uber cool friend (and only friend in undergrad). " Shoppers Optical is now Pearle Vision" and thats about it!

My precious Dell Laptop shot.   My minor nightmare has finally come true.  It's probably haunted me since I first got the laptop but I'm not taking it as hard as I thought.  Granted, it's just my first laptop my parents bought for me and I had hoped to keep it up, alive and running for at least another 4 years until it runs too slow and becomes too old.  It's the first thing I turn on in the morning, run msn messenger, email long distance friends and talk to my lil'bro while he is at work complaining to him about the living creature I live at home with I know why it decided to go kaput on me but eh...it's just a laptop.  I've decided not to invest into another one at least until next year.  At least my ma will relearn how to share the desktop computer with me when I need to use it.  And I'll be off the continuous IM for a while...gasp! sigh!  Nah, it won't be so bad. I know it.

Now if only I can rid my cell phone somehow and I can go back to simpler times like using my lovely vocal cords to communicate with my friends face to face!

Perhaps, I'll rid my xanga site too...or maybe not. Scared?

Cali or Bust: Update.  So I'm definitely visiting LA, San Fran, and San Jose (and a short stint to LV!) this year in mid-august to beginning of September.  I'm quite excited for a particular wedding bell celebration, seeing old friends and classmates.  Some friends I have not seen for at least 4 years or 2 months, it's going to be a slamtastic time for me and this awesome reunion with my loved ones!  And you know who you are, wink! wink!  Hella fine!  Or is it halla fine?  Lindy, help me out!  Now if only I could get moving on purchasing my airline ticket.

Got'em Country music itch in my achy breaky heart.  Currently listening to Keith Urban's "Love Somebody Like You" on the comp now and my heels are at'em clickin'.  Even my ma is lovin' it right now...her achy breaky heart is thumpin' for my pops right about now.  haha. Nenasters, I'mma gitch you now for gettin' me converted to dem' country hurtin' lovin' cryin' pour out ma love for you right about now! I miss you oodles doodles now!

Found:  Love durian.  So I've disappeared lately doing fun stuff, bad work stuff and fun friend stuff.  I spent a couple of days with my bro in Vanc over a week ago, did some biking, some speed boating, some eating, saw some people and some much needed retail therapy.  I'm back to my irregular retail work hours and storming up some Rx sales...my competitiveness has kicked in.  Spent some time at church/retreat...tho more time was required for the full effect (or is it affect?) just last weekend.

Woot! woot! I'm expecting my brothers to be home for the weekend for The Great Thang which is occuring on Wednesday.  I haven't seen my pops for ages so my family will be reuniting once again for some awesome dinners, bbqs and family dim sum.  Plus, there will be some heavy duty Risk Gaming with the brothers and myself  and the lucky three invit-ees.  I can't wait!

Later Gators.

I Witness--Fashion Faux Pas

I'm not any sort of fashion critic but today I saw the worst dressed woman today at work.  I think I could've choked on my own carbon dioxide.

Imagine this:  I first noticed her flannel looking flowery jacket, then I scanned her top to bottom.  She was wearing hideous hoochie-mama  jean pleated miniskirt, with a trying-to-be-fashionable scarf aka belt and a skin-tight pink tank top.  Get this! Nylons! with! white socks! with converse-like sneakers!  Imagine this:  She looked about 45 years old.  Caked-on with oh-too-much makeup, with enormous amounts of eye make up and blistering red lipstick that you could see a mile away.  Yikes.  Clown wannabe.

Her husband was the better dressed one. Tho, the cowboy boots he was wearing wasn't too shabby.

Me Sad Tommorrow.  My good ol'buddy who has been home for several weeks will be going back to SJose.  We spent some time in cgy and celebrated the good times.  Unfortunately, I got her sick somehow (late night chats probably did it) and she been on home-rest for  the past week.  Tho, she did take a good bite of birthday cake on her b-day, so I was overjoyed. With the Guilt resting within me.    I'll be seeing her again soon  in Sjose this August.  V. Happy. Hobbesters, I will miss you girlfriend!
